Common questions about Microsoft 365 Business Standard
Is Business Standard the same as "Office 365 Business Premium"?
No. Microsoft renamed its plans in 2020. The old Office 365 Business Premium is today's Microsoft 365 Business Standard. A new SKU called Microsoft 365 Business Premium was added above it with advanced security.
Can my team install Office on a laptop and a home desktop?
Yes. Each user can install the desktop Office apps on up to 5 PCs/Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 phones at the same time — a favourite for hybrid workers and students.
Do I need to buy Teams separately?
For most regions, Teams is included in the standard Business plans. In some markets Microsoft also offers no-Teams variants, so availability depends on the SKU purchased. We confirm this before checkout.
How quickly can we roll it out?
Most clients are fully provisioned in one or two business days. We help with domain setup, user creation, mailbox migration, and a short onboarding session for admins.
